Job Description
The Home Care Director of Operations and Business Development is a full-time position that supports and assists organizational leadership and day-to-day operational management.
Responsibilities
Provide the Administrator overall assistance to leadership and management of agency, including ensuring effective supervision, direct or indirect, of all staff.
Assist in ensuring fiscal solvency of the agency.
Responsible for ensuring effective implementation and operationalization of agency strategic plans.
Oversees all human resources administration, either directly or indirectly.
Oversees and provides back-up support in any areas of the business i.e. scheduling, recruiting, training, marketing, care management, payroll/billing, employee and client satisfaction
Reviews team members' KPIs.
Assists with all fiscal accounting, either directly or indirectly.
Responsible for ensuring agency complies with all relevant laws to include Federal, State and local jurisdictions.
Maintains current knowledge related to homecare industry standards and industry trends.
Represents the agency to the public to include a variety of activities such as participation on committees, serving as media spokesperson, legislative advocacy and engaging in community partnerships/collaborations.
Develops and ensures agency/staff adherence to operational policies and procedures.
On Call Rotation (every 2-3 weeks)
Intake new client inquiries
Oversees Inside Sales
Orients/Onboards new hires
Identifies areas for employee training and manage agency training programs
Prepares Payroll
Assists in marketing company services and building relationships with referral sources and other groups, organizations and individuals within the community
Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements
At least 2 years of management/leadership experience, preferably in the senior care industry.
Working knowledge of human resource management practices.
Working knowledge of fiscal management/accounting to include budget development and financial analysis.
Significant strategic planning experience.
Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with ability to successfully several tasks at one time, and throughout a 24-hour period of time-including late night and early morning phone calls
Demonstrated knowledge of service line implementation and program evaluation.
Excellent public speaking skills.
Ability to persuasively communicate ideas and information.
Ability to effectively discuss issues of a sensitive nature with potential clients over the phone and in person.
Strong customer service abilities to establish a rapport with office staff, caregivers, clients, contacts, and professionals to rectify problems, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
Ability to professionally represent Nest & Care to clients and the public, both over the telephone and in person.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of constituents.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client and staff information encountered in the course of work.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of modern office equipment and software programs including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Ability to learn how to utilize additional software programs and databases as needed.
Ability to foster and maintain productive and professional working relationships with all Nest & Care staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
