Job Description

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining eCommerce websites and related applications. This role demands proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as a thorough understanding of eCommerce business operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of developing high-quality, scalable, and secure online shopping solutions that provide an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
eCommerce Development: Design, develop, and optimize eCommerce websites to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and ensure seamless shopping experiences.
Full Stack Development: Build and maintain web applications using a variety of languages, frameworks, and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, and React.
Database Management: Design and manage database schemas, ensure data integrity, and optimize database queries for performance.
API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs for payment gateways, shipping, tax calculation, and other eCommerce services.
Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize website and application performance, including load times, responsiveness, and scalability.
Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive customer data and transactions, adhering to best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute test plans to identify bugs and issues before deployment. Ensure high-quality, error-free code through thorough testing and debugging.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and marketing teams to develop features that meet user needs and business goals.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in full stack development and eCommerce to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with specific experience in developing eCommerce platforms.
Strong proficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
Expertise in back-end languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js) and frameworks (e.g., Django, Ruby on Rails, Express).
Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
Knowledge of API development and integration, including payment gateways and shipping APIs.
Understanding of web security practices and compliance with data protection regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
