We are looking for a Software Engineer - Cloud to join our team building Cysiv?s next generation cloud security products. You will help us continue to extend and improve our data pipeline with special focus on ETL, product integrations, and pipeline maintenance. You will work with a team of data scientists and software engineers to build large, complex, data-rich applications in public cloud environments. Achieving this will require knowledge, adaptability, and a desire to solve challenging problems.

As a Software Engineer - Cloud you will:

Build, test, and maintain ETL data pipeline tools and implementations.
Extract data from external systems with python applications in cloud hosted kubernettes
Transform data using a proprietary data-transformation language
Develop and continually improve the tools used for the extraction and transformation including working on python libraries and a proprietary language compiler
Bring knowledge of best practices for data engineering and software development.
Be a part of an integrated Agile Development team, working closely with software developers, data scientists, and product management from the beginning of the development cycle.
As a Software Engineer - Cloud, you must have ?

A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science (or similar technical discipline) or related experience & training
1+ years experience writing production code in Python and/or Java
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong skills working with remote teams in different timezones.
Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains
As a Software Engineer - Cloud, it is preferred that you have ?

1+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform and one or more other leading public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS)
Experience with REST APIs
Experience with consuming streaming data
Experience with asynchronous programming in Python
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Experience with terraform

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
