Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly driven and organized Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Receivable, the ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the collections and account resolution of approximately 800 accounts; provide superb customer service, develop payment arrangements, and assist in resolving customer complaints and problem accounts. Key Accountabilities:

Maintain approximately 800 accounts
Process and code incoming cheque, EFT and credit card payments in the ERP system
Fully responsible for the maintenance of assigned accounts; including reconciliations and investigating payments and discrepancies
Prepare and post daily bank deposits
Review weekly aging
Prepare and transmit weekly customer statements
Maintain customer accounts within the negotiated credit limit and assess accounts for risk
Review and clearing of completed credits on the customer accounts
Performs other duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Competencies:

College diploma or university degree in the field of business with a specialization in accounting
10+ years of accounts receivable experience in a high-volume food supply chain environment
Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook and Word
Experience using computerized accounting software. Knowledge of ERP system - Microsoft Dynamics will be considered an asset
A customer focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication, inter-personals skills and organizational skills, and attention to detail
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
